Description_

This crime thriller is about an Italian grandma who married a gangster named Jimmy Rosolli--who then drops dead 45 minutes after saying, "I do." Jimmy's former "business partners" come after her, but the one thing these wise guys didn't count on was the new widow's bounty hunter granddaughter, who'll do anything to save her.

 

This novel about the Italian mafia going after a granny was screaming for pasta-tastic imagery. I created this image out of spaghetti and stenciled marinara. Throughout the novel, a full plate of pasta is used as a metaphor, so I was inspired to interpret this by having the pasta and the sauce separated, untwisted—acting as a metaphor of its own.
