After two Category-5 hurricanes devastated Puerto Rico in September 2017, I was given the opportunity to conceptualize and create an updated logo for our client, COREFI.
Objective: Stand out among the many budding relief organizations arriving on the scene.
Approach: Since the organization has been doing relief work for ten years on Vieques, I decided to keep the iconic island shape, but simplified the original logo to make the organization central to the design + island. The use of the globe was updated and modernized, as well.
Outcome: With limited communication and a small team, we were able to generate a branding strategy, visit Vieques to shoot, and launch a new website and social media campaign in 7 weeks.
