Description_

This research aimed to understand how to make CivicMakers' signature Learning Lab program (an eight week, hands-on learning and engagement experience for cross-departmental teams in public institutions) more efficient, accessible, and robust.

Process_

I conducted interviews, focus groups, usability testing, desk research, field studies, and concept testing within the organization and with external stakeholders at the cities of San Jose and San Rafael.

Outcomes_

I incorporated the research findings into key recommendations and identified significant areas for improvement and future design partnership opportunities. I created and presented high-quality research deliverables, including a full report, landscape analysis, journey map, empathy map, persona, and other visual communication to highlight research insights.
